You already know the stallion, Alabama Express, can produce that calibre of horse through the exceptional feats of Treasurethe Moment, and this filly possesses many of the same traits that gives us confidence she can follow a similar path.

Lot 371 is a lovely, well-grown individual who stands over plenty of ground. She has a lot of natural strength, presence and quality, with a big fluent action that you love to see in the Classic types.

Her physique is very consistent with her pedigree. By a son of Redoute’s Choice and out of a dual Group-placed Savabeel mare, she profiles as a filly who will continue to furnish and improve with time. We see her developing into a genuine 1600-metre-plus three-year-old, with the scope to stretch beyond that as she matures.

In addition to the four-time Group 1 winner Treasurethe Moment, Alabama Express has made a very encouraging start to his stud career, producing 13 stakes performers from 122 runners (10.7%), including the multiple Group 1-placed Alabama Lass.

The influence of Savabeel as a broodmare sire only strengthens our confidence. He has firmly established himself as one of Australasia’s elite broodmare sires, responsible for 26 Group winners, including Group 1-winning fillies Icebath, Never Been Kissed and La Dorada, as well as his most recent top-class colt Autumn Boy.
