anamoe X easifar colt

Purchased from Wentwood Grange
NZ$600,000 with Clarke Bloodstock (FBAA)
at the 2026 NZB Karaka Yearling Sale

WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?

Anamoe is a stallion I watched and competed against throughout his career with enormous admiration. In my opinion, he is the most exciting first-season stallion prospect to stand at stud in recent times.

That confidence is grounded not only in Anamoe’s own race performance, but also in the proven strength of his sire, Street Boss, as a producer. The combination of elite race ability and established genetics is precisely the profile that warrants close attention, which is why I was eagerly anticipating the arrival of Anamoe’s first yearlings at the 2026 sales.

At Bjorn Baker Racing, we have enjoyed strong success in the past identifying what we believe to be the standout yearling by a first-season sire, notably with O’Ole and Warwoven. The team was given the same brief this year with Anamoe, and when this colt was presented yesterday, it was immediately clear that he was the best Anamoe yearling seen across both Magic Millions and Karaka.

Lot 394 is physically the best Anamoe we’ve seen all year, is a good medium size with great bone, is very well balanced, has a lovely head and moves particularly well.

This colt’s dam was a quality racehorse in her own right and has produced an outstanding first foal. The colt also possesses an exceptional attitude, a trait he shares with both Warwoven and O’Ole, and one that I place enormous value on when assessing long-term racing potential.
