WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?

An imposing Hellbent colt backed by the proven success from Milburn Creek.

Lot 892 is by the promising young stallion, Hellbent, who has produced two Group 1 winners in Magic Time and Benedetta, as well as the highly promising Zip Lock who lines up in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic tomorrow.

Notably, Magic Time was consigned by the exact same farm as this colt, Milburn Creek - a boutique farm which has left three Group 1 winners in the last seven years!

The importance of where these yearlings are born and raised is often undervalued but utilising our pre-sale research into consignors, it gives us far greater confidence to buy off the continually successful vendors.

Physically, this colt has inherited many of Hellbent’s key traits, boasting a strong shoulder and powerful hindquarters that combine to produce a fluent, powerful walk. With this athletic build and pedigree, he shapes as a colt with natural speed that may be able to improve out to the mile.

He is out of the fast, three-time winning mare Tatiara, a half-sister to Group performers Rock Hero and All Too Soon. Tatiara herself is by the legendary Snitzel who continues to excel as a broodmare sire with 4.2% stakes winners to runners. She hails from a deep, high-class family, with her second dam also being by the great Galileo and was a multiple Group 1 performer herself.
