WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?
Hisame is a progressive daughter of Champion Sire, Extreme Choice. She was originally purchased by a client for $425,000 at the 2025 Magic Millions Yearling Sale and has been progressing nicely through my system.
When I was informed Hisame would be offered on Inglis Digital as part of the client reducing their bloodstock holdings, I knew that she was a filly I wanted to keep in my stable.
Her trial form has been strong, finishing a close second to WHY SO HARD, who subsequently went on to win at Randwick on a Saturday just two weeks later, and lines up in the Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes this weekend.
The plan is to give Hisame another six weeks in the paddock before bringing her back into work, with the aim of getting her to the races this preparation.
Opportunities to buy into exceptionally bred fillies with the ability to be up and racing early in the new year don’t come around often - the best part is we purchased her for under $100k!
