Backing a first-season sire carries an inherent element of risk. However, the past two Magic Millions Yearling Sales have demonstrated that our approach is anything but speculative. From Ole Kirk’s first crop, we secured O’ Ole, the 2025 Magic Millions 2YO winner, and from Sword of State’s first crop we have Warwoven, the 2026 Magic Millions 2YO favourite. We have confidence that this imposing son of In The Congo could be our next value find.

In The Congo is by the legendary stallion Snitzel and is famously known for defeating Anamoe in the Group 1 Golden Rose. In The Congo offers elite speed, a proven pedigree and strong market appeal. He is the 3/4 brother to none other than the unbeaten Group 1 winner Autumn Glow.

This colt Lot 574 is the first foal out of the stakes-placed Modern Millie. He hails from a stakes-winning family, with his dam being a full sister to the Group 3 winning Epsom Icon who herself has left two more stakes performers.

This promising colt has an exceptionally sharp physique, highlighted by a powerful, well-muscled hip and excellent depth of girth, giving him both strength and quality. He presents as an athletic, well-balanced individual and in the mould of his accomplished sire.

With his pedigree and physical profile, this colt aligns squarely with the standards that have guided our recent successes.
