WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?
We have enjoyed outstanding early results with Ole Kirk’s progeny, and this filly’s female family has repeatedly produced elite-level performers.
She hails from one of the strongest female families in the stud book. Her third dam, Alizes, was instrumental in establishing this line at the highest level for Godolphin, producing Group 1 winners Alizee and Astern, and the Group 1-producing stallion Tassort. It is a family that consistently delivers class, speed, and commercial relevance.
Our belief in this pedigree runs deep. We previously attempted to purchase the full sister to this filly’s mother, Willinga Beast, as a yearling - a filly who went on to perform in Group company. That experience reinforced what this family produces: quality individuals with genuine athletic ability.
The filly’s dam, Chimes, showed her ability immediately, winning impressively on debut before acquitting herself well in the Group 3 Quezette Stakes at just her third start. She possessed clear natural talent, which is evident again here.
Physically, this filly is medium-sized with scope, strength, and balance. She has good substance through the shoulder and hindquarters, excellent depth of girth, and carries herself fluently and evenly across the ground - exactly the profile we look for in an early-running filly.
Ole Kirk continues to validate himself at the elite level. Our own O’ Ole was exceptional in winning the Magic Millions 2YO Classic, while Ole Dancer captured the Group 1 Thousand Guineas. Legacy Bound further enhanced the record with a Group 1 placing in the Coolmore Stud Stakes. With a current strike rate of 7.2% stakes winners to runners, Ole Kirk is proving his ability to produce top-class performers.
With her proven lineage and strong physical make-up, this filly has the attributes to progress quickly and target major opportunities, including next year’s $2 million Inglis Millennium.
