WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?
Lot 460 is the first Ole Kirk yearling that we have bid on since our very own O’ Ole claimed the Magic Millions 2YO Classic earlier this year!
She is a stunner to look at with a strong shoulder and gaskin, deep girth and lovely scope which she gets from her exceptional mother, Sheezdashing. She was a star 3yo filly having placed in both the Group 1 Australasian Oaks and Group 1 Queensland Oaks – beaten by just under half of a length in both!
This filly comes from a fabulous female family that includes the likes of Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes winner Instant Celebrity and Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap placegetter Generalife among a plethora of other black type performers! This provides you with tremendous residual value looking ahead as a potential future broodmare.
Ole Kirk’s success is exemplified by O’ Ole, but it doesn’t stop there. From his first season of just nine runners, he’s also produced two more stakes performers, including last weekend’s Listed Festival Stakes runner-up, Prestige Forever, and the ill-fated Group 3 Breeders Plate winner, King Kirk.
As a broodmare sire, Myboycharlie has had six stakes performers, featuring the Group 2 placegetter Opal Ridge, and is renowned for being the sire of the three-time Group 1 winning mare, Jameka.
