WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?
Lot 552 is a strong, compact colt by a stallion that I’ve had a lot of success with having trained Belclare to two Group 2 victories and Belluci Babe to a Group 3 victory! He was outstanding value at just NZ$200,000, especially given he's a half-brother to the Group 1 Australian Oaks placegetter, So Dazzling!
This powerful son of Per Incanto strides out with purpose and has a terrific attitude. Per Incanto’s success in Australia stretches even further than Belclare with Group 1 wins from Roch ‘N’ Horse and Blue Diamond winner Little Brose. He is currently striking at over 10% stakes performers to runners.
As a broodmare sire, Lonhro has had three Group 1 winners with Gatting, Golden Mile and Zapateo. He is currently being represented by Group performers Estriella, Glint Of Silver and Here To Shock.
While only two runners have been bred on the Per Incanto x Lonhro cross, it has produced the talented multiple Hong Kong winner A Smile Like Yours.
