WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?
Lot 159 is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional fillies we’ve encountered this year. Currently, I have her full-brother, Roma Green, in training, a horse I firmly believe has stakes-level potential and I'm confident this magnificent filly can follow in her brother's footsteps.
She's an athletic type with natural muscle in all of the right places such as her forearm, gaskin, shoulder and hindquarter. She has an incredibly deep girth which so many of my top horses tend to have with the added scope to develop into an outstanding individual as she matures. She also has plenty of rein which is ideal for a filly that could potentially get out to a mile.
Snitzel continues to reaffirm his status as one of Australia’s champion sires, with his remarkable 3YO filly Lady Shenandoah taking all before her, and Golden Slipper winner Marhoona bursting onto the scene and making an immediate impact.
Our confidence in the filly’s potential is further strengthened by the fact that my father, Murray, trained her Group 3-winning dam, Showbeel, a mare he always rated highly for her immense ability. This connection is one of the key reasons we were so eager to acquire her 2YO brother in the first place.
