WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?

We were delighted to secure this sharp Snitzel filly at $260,000 - a filly we felt was clearly slipping through the cracks.

From the two-time Group 3 placed mare Too Good Too Hard and by the Champion Sire Snitzel, it was a combination that was too good to pass up.

This season alone Snitzel has had 30 individual stakes performers, including four Group 1 winners in Marhoona, Lazzura, Baraqiel and Transatlantic. This filly has all the hallmarks of his best - a deep girth, strong hindquarter and that fluent, effortless walk we’ve come to expect from his progeny.

Lot 156 hails from a family that is constantly developing, highlighted by her Zoustar half-sister selling for $825,000 at last year’s Easter Sale, while Too Good Too Hard’s Group-placed sister, It’s a Myth, is being bred to some of the country’s best proven stallions.

We’ve long been strong supporters of All Too Hard, and he’s now starting to also make a serious impression as a broodmare sire. This season alone he’s been represented by Group 2 winners Sass Appeal and Cristal Clear, and from relatively small numbers has already produced 11 stakes performers - a figure that looks set to rise.
