Lot 314 is by the Golden Slipper winning and Champion 2YO, Stay Inside, who himself is by Australia’s most statistically elite young sire, Extreme Choice. The first season sire has already had the Breeders Plate Group 3 winner on the track, Incognito. He is bred on the exact cross as this colt!
This colt is the first foal out of the speedy four-time winning mare Giulia. Giulia is a half-sister to the Group 2 sprinter winner Bottega. Giulia by the three-time champion sire I Am Invincible is just the third sire this century to achieve three consecutive premierships, joining Danehill and the Yarraman-bred Snitzel. I Am Invincible, the broodmare sire of the group one winning fillies Asfoora and Kimochi.
This colt is bred to run early like his father, and he certainly looks it. He has a huge shoulder that highlights his power and strength, which carries seamlessly through to an athletic, purposeful walk. Exceptionally well-proportioned and balanced, he presents as a sharp, forward type, and with Stay Inside’s progeny expected to be up and running early.
We have already found success with this sire line this season with Paradoxium (Extreme Choice), and hopefully, this colt can follow in his footsteps!
