WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?
This Street Boss filly comes from a family we know exceptionally well, and for good reason.
Her half-brother Point And Shoot has shown serious ability for the stable, winning multiple metropolitan races and starting a short-priced second favourite in last year’s Group 1 Australian Guineas. His ability was no fluke, and the common thread between him and this filly is clear — an exceptional physique.
She’s a powerful, close-coupled filly with a big, purposeful action, particularly impressive for a November foal. She’s very much a sharp sprinting type, which is exactly what we wanted to see from this family, but those same traits are also hallmarks of Street Boss at his best.
Strength, balance and athleticism are written all over her, just as they are for Street Boss’ elite 3YO’s Tentyris and Tempted. We are riding a high with the Group 1 winning Pericles and we’d love to follow it up with another promising progeny from his proven sire. Street Boss’ numbers speak for themselves as he now boasts 88 stakes winners, including 34 at Group level.
If the page wasn’t already strong enough, this filly is also a half-sister to the Group 3 winner Watchme Win, further enhancing her residual value. It’s the kind of pedigree that continues to evolve, adding layers of depth and long-term appeal.
Then there’s the influence of her broodmare sire Sepoy, another proven source of speed and class in our stable. We’ve already enjoyed success with Point And Shoot, and of course our Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner O’ Ole ranks among Sepoy’s top performers, reinforcing our confidence in this filly.
This is a filly with a proven family, the right physique, and the upside to add her own chapter to an already thriving pedigree page.
