WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?
A very strong, imposing colt, Lot 430 is by the sensational young sire Tassort!
Tassort only had two race starts, winning the Golden Gift in a record-breaking time and margin on debut, which earned him a Group 1 class 103 WFA performance rating - a rating that only 0.16% of 2YO colts over the past five seasons have achieved at any stage in the season.
From just two crops of racing age, Tassort has managed to produce two Group winners including the 2YO Group 1 Sires Produce Stakes winner Manaal, and the Group 2 Silver Shadow winner Ameena.
This promising colt has an incredibly sharp physical, with a lovely balanced side profile and strong hip and shoulder. From one of Australia's elite families, this colt is out of a half-sister to the Group 1 JJ Atkins Stakes winner Almalad who himself was crowned the Champion 2YO Colt in Australia in 2013-14.
