WHY WOULD YOU RACE THIS HORSE?

With Rachini giving Zoustar every chance of another two-year-old Group 1 runner next week, we were very keen to secure this filly as the type who could put owners in a similar position next season.

Lot 182 is out of the speedy stakes-winning Snitzel mare Wayupinthesky, who showed early precocity to debut at single figures in the Group 2 Reisling Stakes before training on to win three consecutive races, highlighted by the Listed Cap D’Antibes early in her three-year-old season. She added a further three stakes placings to her CV, and this filly looks cut from the very same cloth.

Physically, she presents as a sharp, forward filly with plenty of athleticism and quality. She is well balanced, has a fluent, effortless walk and gives every indication she can get up and run early like her mother, while still developing into a lovely three-year-old.

The Zoustar x Snitzel cross has been potent with 82% winners to runners, nine stakes performers and three Group 1 performers including Growing Empire, North Star Lass and Zou Tiger. We’ve also seen firsthand what Zoustar can produce at the highest level through our Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes winner Ozzmosis, while our very own Pillow Fight added to that success this season with her gallant Group 2 placing in the Kewney Stakes last start.

Those top performers all possessed the quality to compete early but really thrive in their three-year-old season and we truly expect the same of this filly.
